Red Sky Spirits was founded by Andrew Mount Pleasant, a Haudenosaunee lawyer from Six Nations of the Grand River, who is a whiskey enthusiast and a longtime advocate for Indigenous rights.
Andrew's journey began with advocating in the courtroom and it has led him to the red and sandy shores of Mi'kma'ki (also known as Prince Edward Island). The journey fired his vision to create a bespoke location distillery that restores the connection between people, culture, and nature. That vision bore fruit through a fated meeting with George Teichroeb. George is an industry icon and the craftsman behind award-winning Canadian whiskies and vodkas. Together, Andrew and George founded Red Sky.
Named to honour Mi'kma'ki, the land where the sun first rises across the continent, Red Sky crafts spirits with flavour-profiles that carry the memory of the fresh promise of the Earth and a new dawn.
